Well where do I even begin?

First of all thank you to all those who continue to push me to write more on my blog. Unfortunately I have been really slack in posting new articles and what not. At first when creating this space I loved it because it gave me an outlet to express my overviews and opinions on topics that were of interest to me. However letting the world see inside my brain and how I look at things was quite frightening.

As I was gaining support I also received a lot of criticism on minor things such as my grammar, what kind of structure my blog spot was in and also what the main topic of my blog was. I didn’t like the questions and it made me feel extremely amateur. So my passion for publicly posting blogs started to die down and I kept all my writing to myself.

Now ending my year in 2016 and stepping into 2017 I was able to self- reflect and remind myself of things that make me grateful and also the things that make me passionate. One of the biggest challenge that I wanted to work on and continue was Winnie My Way. If anything I want to share my opinions and thoughts and I also want to make people smile. I admit I’m not at all a literature expert, I make mistakes but as long as everyone gains a little piece of the message that I want to get across than I’m happy.

I want to re-iterate that I’m here to bring you honest topics and show you into the life of a young woman trying to make her mark in this world. From time I’ll be giving you reviews and journal entries. I have so many posts up my sleeve and I cannot wait to share them with you.

If you have a desire to build on a dream that you’ve been sitting on I encourage you to start your foundation NOW! Don’t wait and don’t procrastinate – with a heart full of passion and supportive people around you- you can do it. Of course you’ll have a few hiccups here and there but hey I suppose that’s where the element of trial and error come in.

Someone once told me that ‘there is no growth in being comfortable’.

Time to stop sitting comfortably and make things happen.
